We are writing in support of Ken Acton for Ward 5 Councillor.

For those who don't know Ken Acton, he is an accomplished professor at St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology; Specializing in Architectural Technology and Urban Planning. Ken has accomplished many personal accolades during his career, educating and inspiring many architectural students to grow into professional designers, entrepreneurs, and leaders in their own communities.

As the community of Windsor grows we face many increasing challenges including sprawl, transit, density, and housing. Our Council needs the strong voice of an environmental and urban design leader such as Ken Acton, with the knowledge and experience to make well-informed decisions to guide our city forward.

As former students of the Architectural Technology class of 2010, Ken was instrumental in developing our skills and understanding in our field. Through his leadership, he gave us the knowledge and tools to make our ideas become reality and become productive members of the community.

“I had the privilege of learning from Ken during my time in the Architectural Technology program at St. Clair College. I came to know him as an inspirational teacher, whose creativity, immense knowledge of architecture, and commitment to community, helped shape me into the professional I am today.” - Adam Campbell, Owner - Campbell Architecture

He has inspired all of us to dream of a better city and gave us the ability to help make that happen.

Ken, from all the Architectural Technology students at St.Clair College, thank you.

We support you, and look forward to a better future with you on the Council!

Michael Hoppe, Adam Campbell

and the 2010 Architectural Technology graduates of St. Clair College.
